AMAZON INDIA TO BUY LAND FROM LODHA NEW GENERATIVE AI DATA CENTRE
Amazon India is willing to buy nearly 40-45 acres of land from Macro Tech Developers, also known as Lodha, located in Palava, near Mumbai. The estimated cost for this acquisition is between ₹500-600 crore (approximately $60-72 million) . This new land purchase is part of Amazon's strategy to enhance its infrastructure for generative AI capabilities in India

Amazon chose land in Mumbai for establishing a new AI data centre , which includes a commitment to invest $12.7 billion in cloud infrastructure by 2030 .This is because of the leading demand of AI and its technologies in INDIA.In addition to this Amazon is looking for land of lease from L&T about 4 acres to built a new data centre .
