The second edition of RISE 2024, an enlightening festival that looked into the importance of global citizenship, was recently conducted by Alliance Française de Delhi.The two-day conference welcomed teachers, education policy makers, students, and industry experts to a conference that explored the intersection of technology and human values.

The factors involved in this topic are

### **AI in Education** 

**Personalized Learning**

The AI-based tools will provide individual learning materials for each learner; therefore, it will also lead to the best outcome.

 **Intelligent Tutoring Systems**

The tutoring systems based on AI shall respond to the learner right away and thereby seek support from the learners leading to better involvement in the process of learning.

**Automated Administrative Tasks**

All administrative work will be done by AI, thereby leaving time for educators to engage in more teaching and student interaction.

**Ethical Issues**

Dialogues on ethical issues that will arise with the use of AI in education, such as data privacy, bias, and transparency of algorithms.

### **Global Citizenship**

**Empathy and Intercultural Understanding**

The way education built empathy and intercultural understanding was discussed.

The group discussed the role of education in achieving the SDGs of global sustainability.

Global issues are complex, therefore, developing critical thinking can be an important area in the solution of such problems and issues.

### **A Collaborative Effort for a Brighter Future**

RISE 2024 was a collaborative event of Alliance Française de Delhi and One Teacher One Scientist. The festival aimed at the following objectives:

Educators and students must use technology and innovative methods for teaching.

**To Foster Dialogue**

An open platform of dialogue and knowledge sharing with experts and stakeholders.

**To Empower the Next Generation**

Equip young people to become responsible global citizens with necessary skills and knowledge.

RISE 2024 will lay the foundation for technology and human values being united to create a better world, while addressing actual challenges and opportunities in the space of AI and global citizenship.
